Tangy Creations

Welcome to Tangy Creations NC, where imagination takes shape and raw creativity comes to life!

Founded in March 2026 by the aunt-and-nephew duo Deborah and Christopher, we are the artistic arm of C&D Collective, LLC. We specialize in blending cutting-edge technology with traditional artistry, offering an eclectic mix of custom 3D prints, articulated collectibles, and original, one-of-a-kind artwork. Every single piece we create is designed to spark joy, capture the imagination, and bring something truly unique into your world.

Whether we are setting up a vibrant booth at local North Carolina craft fairs and neighborhood bazaars, or bringing our collection to major regional festivals and gaming expos, we thrive on the energy of connecting with our community. Our collection has a little something for everyone: kids and pop-culture fans love our fun, quirky 3D-printed fidgets and articulated creatures, while others are drawn to our custom home decor and deeply personal, faith-based artwork.

We treat every print, painting, and custom design as a standalone piece of art, ensuring high quality and attention to detail.

When you shop with Tangy Creations NC, you aren’t just buying a product—you are taking home a piece of our passion, hard work, and shared family dream.

Our Creative Process & Inspiration

Turning Ideas Into Art

Our creative process is a unique blend of digital engineering and traditional craftsmanship.

Every project starts with a spark of inspiration—whether it’s a sketch for a new painting or a digital model for a complex 3D print.

For our 3D prints and articulated creations, we use state-of-the-art technology to calibrate, slice, and bring multi-dimensional designs to life. We use premium, high-quality filaments like dual-color or silk PLA, which give our movable creatures and fidgets a dazzling, shifting metallic shine that catches the light perfectly.

We don't just hit "print" and walk away; we meticulously inspect, clean, and hand-finish every piece to ensure the joints move smoothly and the details are perfectly crisp.

Our original, one-of-a-kind artwork, blends a passion for storytelling with rich textures and vibrant colors. Every canvas is a deeply personal journey, created using high-grade acrylics, mixed media, and protective finishes.

Driven by Faith, Family, and Community

Our inspiration comes straight from the things that ground us: our faith, our family bond, and the incredible North Carolina community we call home.

  • Our Faith-Based Art: We create deeply meaningful pieces designed to bring peace, hope, and visual testimony into your home. These designs are crafted with reverence, focusing on symbols and themes that uplift the spirit.

  • Our Pop-Culture & Interactive Prints: On the playful side, we draw inspiration from modern pop-culture, fantasy, and the simple joy of tactile, sensory items. Seeing a child's face light up when an articulated dragon moves like a real creature in their hands is exactly why we choose the playful, high-energy designs we do.

  • The Beauty of the Everyday: From the crisp colors of autumn to local NC scenery, we are constantly inspired by the world around us. We translate that beauty into custom home decor and standalone art pieces that transform any room into a conversation starter.

Caring for Your 3D Prints

We want your unique creations to look amazing and last for years to come.

Because we use premium PLA (polylactic acid) filament, our prints are durable but do require a little specialized care:

  • Keep Cool: Avoid leaving your 3D prints in areas with high ambient heat. On a hot summer day, the inside of a parked car or a sunny windowsill can get hot enough to warp, soften, or distort the plastic.

  • Clean and Dust: To clean your items, simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or running them through a dishwasher.

  • Handle Articulated Pieces with Care: Our flexible, moving fidgets and creatures are designed to handle normal fidgeting and play. However, dropping them on hard concrete surfaces or applying excessive force to the joints can fracture the internal connections.
